Master Thesis or IDP (m/w/d) LiDAR Sensor Fusion – Deep Learning

Your role

Our LiDAR Sensor is already one of the best in the world and produces great three-dimensional data. Imagine what would be possible if we merge these data with, e.g., camera data and apply deep learning approaches. This sensor fusion takes place on the NVIDIA DRIVE platform. Help us to apply deep learning approaches and enable all kinds of new applications!

We are a fast growing Start-up in Munich that develops sensors for intelligent machines. Our innovative LiDAR technology is one of the enabler of autonomous driving. Be part of that team and help to shape the mobility of the future!

Tasks:

  • Get acquainted with the NVIDIA DRIVE platform
  • Use fused data (camera & LiDAR) as input for deep learning approaches
  • Evaluate different deep learning approaches
  • Embed suitable deep learning approaches on the NVIDIA DRIVE platform

Skills:

  • You are currently studying software engineer or electrical engineering (or similar)
  • You have relevant programming skills in C/C++, Python
  • You have experience with CUDA, OpenCL or OpenGL
  • You have experience with Linux
  • You have experience with neural networks and/or tensor flow or similar deep learning frameworks and with embedding neural networks
  • You have very good communication skills in English
