Blickfeld is strengthening its leadership team with the appointment of machine learning and deep learning expert Doychin Tsanev. He joins from Hyundai Mobis, where he built perception solutions for cameras and was the development lead for perception technologies based on LiDAR and imaging radar sensors. With this move, Blickfeld further strengthens its market position in perception software for LiDAR.
At Blickfeld, Doychin will continue to expand and drive the AI Perception and Data Analytics division as team lead. He and his team will focus on topics such as AI-based classification and segmentation of objects in point clouds. This work will feed into future products as well as Blickfeld’s Percept software solution.
