Working Student (m/f/d) Object Recognition


Your mission

Our customers are enthusiastic about our LiDAR sensor – and of course we want it to stay that way. One way we do this is to ensure that our software products are tested, documented, developed and then deployed to the highest standards. And this is where you come in! Your goal as a Working Student (m/f/d) Object Recognition is to make our LiDAR technology intelligent and accessible to everyone. The goal is to transform algorithms and point cloud data into useful applications for customers while focusing on modern design and easy-to-use interfaces. All together with your great team, of course! You will work on innovative software solutions for our world-class LiDAR system and share our enthusiasm for state-of-the-art application development in sensor technology. You will not shy away from the challenges that await us in the fascinating field of data processing and point clouds. We are looking forward to your support and enthusiasm for innovative technology! 

Your tasks

  • Analyze, test and document existing code base and improve our release process
  • Participate in algorithm development for our innovative point cloud  processing solutions
  • You are involved in the development of the internal framework for point  cloud processing algorithms (if interested)
  • You are involved in the development of our web-based solution to create an easy to use interface for point cloud processing
  • You are involved in the development of solutions for clients

Your profile

  • You have relevant programming skills in C++, Python or JavaScript
  • You have experience with version control and Linux
  • Any experience with web frameworks/development is appreciated  (JavaScript/TypeScript and designing interfaces and ideally familiar with ReactJs or Angular)
  • You have experience or interest in working with Computer Vision, 3D data and point cloud processing
  • You have good communication skills (oral, written) in English
